My name is Jakob Zorc, I’m 15 years old and come from Bevke. I’m a 2nd-year student at the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Vegova, studying to become an electrical engineer. I’ve been a member of ŠKD Super Potencial since 2023, where I train and compete in the mountain biking discipline Enduro. Before that, I played football for eight years.

In 2023 I competed for the first time in the SloEnduro series in the U15 category, finishing 17th overall out of 65 riders, which was a great result for my first racing season. I was especially happy with my 11th place at the National Championship in Trbovlje and 10th place in Gorjanci.

In 2024 I moved up to the U17 category, where the competition is much tougher. That year I had some health issues and couldn’t train for a while, so I missed most of the races. This year, 2025, is going much better as I’m competing more confidently against strong riders. On the last stage in Gorjanci I achieved the 2nd fastest time in my category. Before the final race of the season it looks like my overall result will be similar to my first competitive year, which makes me happy as it shows steady progress and consistency, as long as I stay healthy and my bike runs smoothly.
