By participating in the Franja Marathon in 2002, I eagerly entered the world of amateur cycling. Since 2004, I have been competing in the Slovenian Cup, where I have become an amateur national champion 10 times in my category. I have also represented the Slovenian national team at five World Championships, finishing in the top ten three times.

Among my most significant achievements are 8 victories, including the time trial at the Franja Marathon, 4 wins at the Istria Gran Fondo, 2 wins at the Alpe Marathon, and 7 overall victories (road, climbs, time trials) in the OMR Slovenian Cup.
